New open position: CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship in MLAI FSP: Spatiotemporal Representation Learning
- Work with world-leading machine learning/artificial intelligence scientists
- Apply your knowledge to exciting challenges in biosecurity
- Join the CSIRO MLAI Future Science Platform (MLAI FSP)
In this position you will undertake research in the CSIRO Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Future Science Platform (MLAI FSP). As the successful candidate you will develop fundamental and transformative machine learning/artificial intelligence algorithms and workflows to analyse pest/disease distributions and movements given a diversity of data types and scales.
You will focus on the advancement and development of artificial intelligence methods and tools to improve generalisation and transferability and algorithms that combine multiple sources of data with domain knowledge and constraints. You will also work on addressing challenges facing data uncertainty and lack of labelled data.
This position is a collaboration between CSIRO’s Health and Biosecurity and Data61 business units with MLAI Future Science Platform Spatiotemporal Activity led by Dr Peyman Moghadam from the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group.
