Sustainable Energy Team

The global energy crisis and increased greenhouse gas emissions are very much alarming stage that forced the Sustainable Energy Team of Central Queensland University to develop a standalone power system for residential, community, industrial, and commercial purposes. The uniqueness of this research project is that it produces environmentally and sustainably viable standalone power from renewable energy sources, including solar and wind, integrated with battery storage system. This standalone hybrid renewable power system is environmentally friendly and economically viable for users whenever they need electricity. In addition, this novel approach is even suitable for remote communities in Australia.
