The ON Innovation Program empowers Australia’s brilliant researchers with the skills, networks, and pathways to translate their big ideas into real-world impact. Since 2015, we have delivered training and support to more than 5,000 people from over 50 Australian research organisations and universities, helping them realise the pathways to growth beyond academia.

We do this through two main programs:

ON Prime explores the potential of research – Research teams are supported in cultivating the skills and confidence to undertake customer discovery and market validation activities, with expert facilitators and mentors guiding them on how to best make an impact.

ON Accelerate launches research-driven ventures from mind to market – Research teams are connected with experts and investors to help validate their idea, build their business knowledge and skills, raise funds and develop their high potential innovative ventures.

Across the programs, ON has created a community within the innovation ecosystem of researchers, founders, industry experts, advisors, and investors. With over 700 jobs created, $320 million in commercialisation grants attracted and more than $361 million in investment capital raised, our impressive ON Alumni are integral to this community.
