EMU Systems

Extreme heat is projected to cost the global economy more than $2.4 trillion a year – equivalent to 80 million full-time jobs – by the end of the decade, all because people are overheating. At EMU Systems we have developed standalone devices that accurately monitor the key aspects of the local environment that determine health and productivity. These devices link to software that displays an easy-to-understand heat stress risk score based on the profile of the workforce. This software then also explains specifically what compatible interventions can be used to ensure athletes and workers remain productive, and safe, despite hot conditions.
