SustainaBuild Solutions

Global warming is a major environmental concern, with concrete production contributing 7–8% of global CO₂ emissions primarily due to the use of cement. Sustainable alternative of cement, made from industrial by-products, waste materials, agricultural waste, and recycled materials can make the concrete eco-friendly as the green concrete lowers emissions, diverts waste from landfills.

However, critical research is required to achieve comparable strength and durability to conventional concrete. This research supports professionals in the construction and waste management industries aiming to adopt eco-friendly practices.

Green concrete manufacturing supports transforming construction practices aligned with global SDGs, reducing the carbon footprint, and contributing to a net-zero future.
