Plasmid Therapy

We developed a strategy to protect the microbiota (e.g., human gut) from antimicrobial resistance (AMR) invasion. We tested the strategy for in vitro AMR protection.

We now aim to test this novel strategy in the mouse model for feasibility to use in humans. This novel, proactive and high-precision approach will be a safe strategy for AMR management by controlling AMR invasion and spread. This is the only positive approach to managing AMR.
