NAPPING

Unlike humans, current AI struggles with adapting to unknown and unexpected situations. This occurs because general AI systems either require large amounts of data to train or are based on predefined structures, limiting their flexibility. Our team addresses these challenges by developing innovative methods called NAPPING that enable AI to adapt dynamically and effectively to new situations, mimicking human adaptability. By enhancing AI’s ability to learn and adjust in real-time, we believe NAPPING will revolutionise how AI performs in real-world scenarios, improving efficiency, reliability and safety, and will become a crucial component for general-purpose robots.
