MEDUSA Nova (Mix-and-read Assay for Detecting Multiple Viruses and Bacteria Innovation) is our new pathogen screening tool that helps doctors quickly distinguish between viral and bacterial infections.

It provides results in 10 minutes, which is much faster than existing methods. This means patients get the right treatment sooner, avoiding unnecessary antibiotics. By speeding up diagnosis, MEDUSA supports more accurate and personalised care for people with infections. It’s especially useful in busy clinics or remote settings, where quick decisions are important, leading to better health outcomes and smarter use of treatments.
