Green Shield

There is a strong need in the defence and civilian industry to design electrically conducting materials that are affordable, environmentally friendly and have tuneable electrochemical and electromagnetic properties. Green Shield (GS) offers a class of materials that are highly adaptive and provide unique solutions for radio frequency shielding or signature management (object camouflage).

GS materials are produced from low-cost, abundant and benign materials through a green and scalable process. Beyond electrically conducting coatings GS materials provide competitive advantage in device fabrication for energy storage, chemical sensing and catalysis.
