Australia generates 7.6 million tons of food waste and over 1.9 million tonnes of plastic packaging waste per year which is a threat to sustainability. Short shelf-life of fresh produce and the unsustainable materials used to package these are key concerns.
Our innovative packaging technology tackles both problems with one solution: a natural, safe, and sustainable packaging technology that extends the shelf-life of fresh produce by reducing microbial spoilage.
This technology is applicable from farm to fork, helping growers, retailers and consumers maintain product safety and quality, thus reducing food waste.
