CansenS
Each year, over 200,000 people in Australia present to the emergency departments with suspected traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), yet many more go undiagnosed due to high costs, long wait times, and limited access to CT scans. Our team has developed CansenS, a portable, non-invasive blood test that delivers rapid, quantitative results at the point of care.
By combining sensitivity with accessibility, CansenS enables timely detection of TBIs in both emergency and sports settings. This innovative technology aims to reduce diagnostic delays, healthcare costs, and transform how brain injuries are identified and managed while improving accessibility and health outcomes.
