Bio-Epoxy UniSQ

Bio-epoxy resin is made from natural materials and in a novel alternative to traditional petroleum-based resins used in the composite industry. It is designed to be more environmentally friendly, affordable and compatible with existing manufacturing facilities.

We work closely with research centres, industry partners, and government bodies to test its performs and explore improvements. The bio-epoxy resin can incorporate nano-additives to enhance its strength without requiring changes to the production process. Our resin will support manufacturers in various sectors, including construction, transport, marine, and sports, by providing technical assistance, reports, and updates tailored to their specific needs and sustainability goals.
