XRiEd

Immersive technologies, such as Extended Reality (XR), are increasingly being adopted in vocational training. However, their use in Australian universities remains limited. Our project aims to investigate the reasons for this and to design a practical framework that facilitates the widespread integration of XR, transforming learning experiences in these institutions.

The framework will provide a comprehensive guide to help educators navigate the complexities of XR adoption. By addressing challenges from multiple perspectives—technological, social, organizational, and legal—this framework empowers educators to fully harness XR’s potential, benefiting students across a variety of subjects and age groups.
