Dr Benjamin Mayne

Dr Benjamin Mayne is a post doctoral fellow in the Environomics FSP. Ben is a molecular biologist/bioinformatician with expertise in epigenetics and next generation sequencing. Ben’s PhD research focused on DNA methylation an epigenetic modification, known for its regulation of gene expression and association with aging.

Ben’s FSP project is DNA Ageing: Rapid epigentic age estimation for animals.
