Research description

The Queensland node and main centre of the National Hydrogen Materials Reference Facility (NHMRF) form part of the Queensland Micro-and Nanotechnology Centre at Griffith University in Brisbane, Queensland.

The NHMRF is a reference laboratory focussing on hydrogen storage materials and hydrogen embrittlement.

The NHMRF provides access to instruments and techniques for characterising the performance of new and advanced functional materials to help advance hydrogen energy technologies (and support PhD projects related to hydrogen energy).

The National Hydrogen Materials Reference Facility (NHMRF) website includes a catalogue of the capabilities of the NHMRF, as well as a listing of currently supported research activities and organisations with which research collaborations are underway.
