Project description:

Origin Energy is assessing the potential of a renewable hydrogen production facility in Townsville, Queensland. Domestic offtake and high-value local uses are being investigated by the project proponent.  Origin is focussed on developing a commercial-scale domestic facility as a pathway to export at later stages.

The project proponent has advised it is no longer progressing the Townsville opportunity at this stage.
