Project description

This project would develop a renewables-based hydrogen production facility in the Melbourne metropolitan logistics and transportation hub of Altona. The project would have the initial capacity to generate 130 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually, with the potential to remove 740 tonnes of CO2 per annum that may otherwise be emitted in the absence of this project. End-use is targeted as mobility and industrial applications.

The project proponent has advised that the project is on hold.
