Project description
TE H2 and the Northern Territory Government have signed a MoU that frames how they will work together to progress the Darwin H2 Hub Project, a renewables-based hydrogen hub development located at Darwin in the Northern Territory.
The Darwin H2 Hub development concept comprises more than 2 GW of solar PV generation capacity on 5,000 hectares of land providing energy for up to 1 GW electrolyser capacity capable of producing more than 80,000 tonnes of (renewables-based) hydrogen per annum.
In January 2024, the Northern Territory Government awarded major project status to the Darwin H2 Hub with development activities ongoing through 2025.
