The Intelligent Algae Bioprospecting project will develop a platform able to predict species likely to yield valued bioproducts.

Algae are incredibly diverse containing a wealth of hidden bioproducts. However, bioprospecting can be an arduous screening task.

The Intelligent Algae Bioprospecting project will develop an extensive knowledgebase of algae phylogenetics, omics and bioproducts. It will combine this resource with machine learning algorithms to predict sources of valuable bioproducts across algae species.
