Access to raw model output

There are multiple ways to access the raw eReefs data. For advanced users, the direct access to raw eReefs model data is available via NCI’s THREDDS server at:

http://dapds00.nci.org.au/thredds/catalogs/fx3/catalog.html

These links includes ability to download individual CF1.0 compliant netCDF format files, visualise the simple files using the embedded Godiva2 viewer as well as other web service features. For all dataset there is also an NCML aggregate provided so that you can interrogate the entire archive via a single URL

eReefs data use CSIRO’s MarLIN geonetwork instance (http://marlin.csiro.au) for metadata records. This will maintain a 1:1 mapping between the data on the THREDDS server to ensure there is a description of each dataset. These records will also be publicly accessible so that search engines will be able to index them, which then, in turn, point THREDDS to actual data retrievable. There is also be a link in the netCDF files back to its metadata record.
