Protecting children online with artificial intelligence

December 9th, 2022

When the threshold between virtual space and reality becomes blurry, children need stronger protection against harmful content on the net.

The amount of harmful content on the Internet, from profanity, hate speech, violence to substance and pornography is exceeding parents’ surveillance capacity. Being exposed to these kinds of content can affect children’s brain development and mental health.

CyberPurify Egg is an easy-to-use wifi device that uses AI technology to block malicious websites from Internet-connected devices in your home to protect children’s online safety. In addition, CyberPurify Egg helps children enhance the quality of learning by automatically blocking notifications and access to games and social networking applications when it is study time.

CyberPurify Egg is the newest product of CyberPurify, an alumnus of Aus4Innovation’s AI Accelerator Challenge 2021. By the time the product was launched in September 2022, there were more than 1400 pre-orders, proving the demand and necessity of such protection for our young folks.

Selected as one of the five most potential AI applications at Tech Matching session by industry experts at AI4VN, Vietnam’s leading platform for AI tech, Aus4Innovation is once again supporting this start-up with funding to help speed up the commercialisation process of this product.
