Les Overs – 20 years of service

After two decades of outstanding engineering work, Les Overs gets the spotlight as we congratulate him for 20 years of service at CSIRO!

Having joined the Autonomous Systems Lab in 1998, Les has assisted the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group in receiving many of its awards.

Les currently leads our Advanced Mechatronics Team, apart from being the DATA61 Location Leader for the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies Site (QCAT), responsible for location operations; representation, engagement and supporting health; safety & the environment for the site.

Les is also one of the main people behind a lot of our outreach activities.
