Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (Asia) – October 2018

Adam Best presented CSIRO’s research on the novel production of lithium metal anodes, LithSonic^TM, which uses a carbothermal process for the production of lithium powder at the 2^nd AABC Asian conference in Osaka, Japan. Adam also discussed CSIRO’s work in the development and application of ionic liquid electrolytes and solid polymer electrolytes, PILBLox, and how we are using these materials to get closer to batteries with a lithium metal anode.
