BRAN2020 in production

The new Bluelink ReANalysis (BRAN) has commenced production on NCI.

BRAN2020 will produce a reconstruction of three-dimensional ocean circulation from 1993 to 2020 using the best observations during this period.

The production has already reached the year of 1997, with the full dataset expected to be completed in the next 4 or 5 months.

As BRAN2020 is generated the dataset is incrementally available on the NCI Opendap server. See the Data Access page for further details.
