Strengthening science and technology collaboration!

A Australia and Vietnam Memorandum of Understanding exchanged today will promote collaboration in science, technology and innovation across key areas such as agriculture, renewable energy, climate change, and digital transformation.

Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, accompanied by Australia’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Tim Watts, visited CSIRO – Australia’s national science agency to witness the exchange between CSIRO and Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology.

Prime Minister Chinh had productive discussions with CSIRO leaders and was impressed by CSIRO’s achievements, including through its impactful work in Vietnam through the #Aus4Innovation program.

This week the Australia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership was announced which includes ‘Supporting Science, Technology, Innovation and Developing Digital Transformation as a key pillar.
