CRC ORE Student Visit

Yesterday, the CSIRO Data61 Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group hosted the CRC ORE’s (Optimising Resource Extraction) RhD (research and higher degree) and vacation students for an overview of our robots, labs and facilities as part of a QCAT site wide tour.

The key topics covered included:

• Legged robots research demonstration – Ryan Steindl and Ben Tan
• 3D SLAM REVO mapping technologies demonstration – Ross Dungavell
• Gator research demonstration – David Haddon

We hope this was a great learning experience for the students!
