Terry O’Kane Presents to ALCS
On 7th November, DCFP’s Terry O’Kane gave an invited presentation to the 2019 Australasian Leadership Computing Symposium (ALCS); a unique event for the Australasian computational science community.
Terry’s presentation considered the framework, modelling system, computational and data requirements of the CSIRO Climate Analysis Forecast Ensemble (CAFE) system, as part of the Climate and Weather Stream sessions.
ALCS 2019 was a unique gathering, which brought together scientists from five key computational science disciplines in Australasia (consisting of Astronomy, Genomics, Geosciences, Climate and Weather, and Material Science), with the aim of sharing knowledge about High Performance Computing and High Performance Data in practice within and across diverse research communities.
