AIM Director Nominated for Women’s Agenda Award
Message from Danielle:
For the AIM research office it has been a massive year. This time last year I had just been appointed as Director, I had a vision and a strategic plan and not much else. We had just kicked off with 9 test beds. September saw the leaders building their teams of scientists and engineers from right across Australia.
I feel lucky to have the opportunity to lead the AIM future science platform and work with such an accomplished cohort of scientists and engineers. I am very humbled by the nomination for the Women’s Agenda Awards.
Thank you to those staff, collaborators and partners who nominated me. It is a huge honor to just be nominated among this group of professionals and I am excited to attend the luncheon.
Standing up a research program from nothing is a huge endeavor, made possible by the hard work of so many of you. A special thanks to Cathy Foley, the AIM science council, Paul Sadler PMP, Katie Styan and Tim Head for making the research within AIM possible.
I will let you know how I go next week…
