Case studies
Case studies form an important focus for testing the rigour and relevance of the three ‘powerful ideas’ with partners and stakeholders: adaptation pathways, adaptation services and the values, rules, knowledge (VRK) perspective.
Members of TARA are developing a portfolio of case studies across a wide range of ecosystems and land uses. These case studies focus on how social-ecological systems are altering in response to climate change and how these changes affect the range of ecosystem services and adaptation services. The case studies consider the consequences for people who depend on those ecosystems for their livelihoods and wellbeing and their options for adaptation.
