DECEMBER | Dr Qing Liu

Dr Qing Liu is a senior research scientist in CSIRO Data61 and having/hold co-joint positions with the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the University of New South Walse (UNSW). Four PhD students have successfully graduated under my supervision in the past. At the moment, I am supervising 4 PhD students.

NOVEMBER | Dr Sharif Abuadbba

Dr Abuadbba has recently helped in defining Data61 Cyber Security CRC projects, such as Deception as a Service and Smart Shield which got +$3M dollar funds. His specialist and interests include AI for cybersecurity, machine learning privacy and security, Applied cryptography and watermarking.

OCTOBER | Brigitte Biscotto

Brigitte is one of the people who has worked behind the scene for the past 3 years, assisted in organising a Cyber Security Summer School which has turned into a great yearly event.

SEPTEMBER | Dr. Shiping Chen

Dr Shiping Chen has worked on distributed systems for 20 years.

AUGUST | Dr. Joanne Chia

Dr Chia loves modelling extreme rainfall events, among other things.
