  • Tell us a bit about yourself ?
    I started my journey as a hairdresser which led me to open my first salon, after many years of hairdressing I decided to sell up and go into Office work, I started doing administrational positions, working as a temp for a lot of different companies where most of my experience was learnt. I have a pet cat Maxx who is 8 now, he is like my little shadow! My hobbies are travelling and gardening. My dream is to own a plant nursery with a café!

    I have received two awards in the past a team award and support excellence award.

    How long have you worked for Data61 and why do you like working here?

    I have been with CSIRO’s Data61 for almost 5 years previously with NICTA for 6 years. I enjoy the variety of work and always learning new processes. We have a great team; everyone is helpful and supportive.

    What is the most valuable thing you’ve learned while working for Data61?

    One of the most valuable things I have learnt is teamwork and support.

    What is the one contribution you’ve made to SCS that you’re most proud of?

    For the past 3 years, I have assisted in organising a Cyber Security Summer School which has turned into a great yearly event which I am proud of.

    What is the one thing you hope people would remember about you?

    Hopefully, I will be remembered as helpful easy to approach and funny!
