TAFE Queensland visit to the Robotics Group

On Friday 3 December, 18 Representatives from TAFE QLD from Brisbane and regional campuses visited the Robotics groups researchers and engineers and the QCAT workshop for input into a new pilot program “Certificate II in Robotics”

TAFE Queensland tour of the CSIRO site at Pullenvale included our DARPA Robots, the Robotics Innovation Centre (RIC) and the QCAT Workshops. All of the TAFE teachers and other TAFE representatives were extremely interested in robotics and will take the information gained back to their courses at TAFE. One example in the new course pilot “Certificate II in Robotics” which will commence on the 1 February 2022 which will be avaliable in Brisbane, Gladstone and Central Queensland.

More tours of the Robotics group are planned for the new Certificate II in Robotics students in 2022.
