New report – Upper King River MAR risk assessment

The Upper King River Stage 2 Pre-commissioning – Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) risk assessment is now available via the NT Government’s Territory Stories and the CSIRO Research Publications Repository.

This report details Stage 2 investigations undertaken to support the risk assessment. These investigations included a hydrological study of the King River to determine the availability of water for recharge, a drilling program and hydrogeological study to better characterise the Tindall Limestone Aquifer (TLA) where MAR is proposed, surface and groundwater quality sampling and groundwater modelling.
