International Women’s Day 2019

 

Lindfield: celebrated with a special IWD Forum organised by the Lindfield Collaboration Hub in partnership with City of Ryde. The event included Dr Cathy Foley as the keynote speaker, Ms Andrea Watson the founder of Sparrows as the guest speaker, and a panel discussion with panelists Rebecca Lodin from Baraja, Adrienne McLean from The Speakers Practise, Angela Samuel from the National Measurement Institute, and Khyiah Angel from Typologytech.  About 80 women attended the event and were invited to participate in a Mentor Walk that encouraged them to make some new connections and inspire others with their own stories while walking the grounds of CSIRO Lindfield.  The mentor walk was a hit and created an amazing energy for the lunch/networking session.
