Project description
The project would use existing hydroelectricity-based power (augmented by renewable wind-based electricity supply) to produce hydrogen that can be used in domestic applications, with the transport sector and hydrogen injection into the Tasmanian gas grid targeted.
The initial project involves a 10 megawatt (MW) electrolyser pilot plant that can produce 4.5 tonnes per day of hydrogen.
