Projects

The CTD rosette is returned onboard during a voyage investigating the East Australia Current in 2019.

The Hydrochemistry team are involved in a number of projects at any one time. We regularly collaborate with other research institutions to help them achieve their goals. We also actively engage with other laboratories that perform similar analysis, with the aim of knowledge sharing.

Current major projects include;

RV Investigator

The Hydrochemistry team operate the permanent laboratory onboard the RV Investigator. Much of the preparation for this work is done on shore as certain tasks cannot be conducted onboard.
