PrefLib Tools and Archive

February 16th, 2015

A reference library of preference data, tools, and links assembled by Nicholas Mattei and Toby Walsh. This site and library is proudly supported by the Optimisation Research Group at Data61.

Empirical experiments with real data are becoming a more fundamental part of work in computational social choice and other related fields.  We have assembled and house over 3,000 datasets for use by the community.  We have developed a small of lightweight tools in Python3 for working with PrefLib and generating synthetic data. We provide a comprehensive resource for the multiple research communities that deal with preferences, including computational social choice, recommender systems, data mining, machine learning, and combinatorial optimisation, to name just a few.
