Cyber-Physical Systems Research Groups
The Cyber-Physical Systems Research Program at CSIRO’s Data61 is comprised of four research groups, spread through multiple teams around Australia.
Imaging and Computer Vision Group
We are the Imaging and Computer Vision (ICV) Research Group. Our aim is to harness the benefits of imaging and computer vision science for Australia.
We are the Cybernetics Research Group. Our vision is to create a future enhanced by ubiquitous devices, where the interface between machines and complex environments is seamless, and to create situational awareness in real-time.
Distributed Sensing Systems
The Distributed Sensing Systems Group is one of the leading large scale sensing groups in the world. It focuses on sustainable data acquisition from wireless sensors distributed over large spatial scales.
Robotics and Autonomous Systems
The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group at CSIRO develops foundational and applied research for a broad range of domains including; agriculture, advanced manufacturing, mining, biodiversity and biosecurity, environmental research and monitoring, cultural heritage and online learning.
