Changes in heat-health vulnerability
The slider below compares changes in Neighbourhood Heat-Health Vulnerability Index between 2016 and 2021. The Neighbourhood Heat-Health Vulnerability Index identifies areas where more residents may be exposed to high temperatures and have a high risk of heat-related illness and fewer economic resources to invest in adaptation strategies such as installing shade sails or planting and maintaining trees.
