Olympus BX43F -Cytoviva hyperspectral imaging microscope
Location: Room B:08, BMIC, Synergy LG.
The Cytoviva Hyperspectral microscope system provides imaging and detailed hyperspectral characterisation and mapping for a wide range of samples. The system comprises an Olympus compound microscope equipped with an enhanced dark field illumination system, motorised stage, fluorescent illumination system, an optical camera and hyperspectral imaging spectrograph. The system scans and captures the optical spectrum of each point in the image by combining motion of the microscope stage with digital imaging spectroscopy. The CytoViva-ENVI software allows analysis of spectral intensity at each pixel in the image.
Training: use of this microscope requires at least one training session with Viv or Phil. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance to organise training. Registration to book the equipment will not be available until training is complete.
