Regional Communities & Catchments

The team’s science focuses on the drivers of sustainable development for regional and remote communities and catchments, particularly in Australia’s north. Team strategy links complementary domains (Northern Development, Great Barrier Reef, and Indigenous Science Futures) into a coherent portfolio to balance key science linkages, client diversification, and impact positioning.

Building sustainable development in Australia’s regional communities and catchments through social, economic and institutional scientific innovation that enhances wellbeing and prosperity, particularly with respect to the Great Barrier Reef and Indigenous communities in Australia’s north.
