Commercial fishers

Baseline results from SELTMP surveys were obtained from commercial fishers surveyed by telephone in 2013.

We were able to access these through our own contacts databases, publicly-available data, and personal contacts. We surveyed commercial fishers that were in possession of at least one license which allowed access to the Great Barrier Reef.

A total of 91 surveys were completed by commercial fishers in 2017, and 210 in 2013.
