Sharydia Tusa is a Research Scientist with the Agriculture Research Division in the Scientific Research Organisation of Samoa and is based in Nafanua, Apia Samoa. Sharydia works with her colleagues Seuseu Joseph Tauati, Olo Aleni Uelese, Ulugia Angelika Tugaga, and Ellis Vaega in the soil health team.

Sharydia contributed to the field trial in Samoa for the Soil management in Pacific Islands project. She assisted with the procurement of tools and materials and assisted during harvesting, sampling, taking measurements and data recording and management. She also collected and managed the field tools and equipment when the other team members are unable to do this.
