Nuera is the Project Assistant with the Kiribati Agriculture and Livestock Division. She is based in Tarawa, Kiribati.

Nuera manages the field sites in Kiribati for the Soil management in Pacific Islands project in association with National Project Counterpart. In her work at the field sites, she monitors soil water content and movement daily in drip irrigation cropping plots using the chameleon and FullStop sensors. This information can enhance soil knowledge and provide a reliable foundation for sustainable intensification of agricultural in Kiribati.
