Ellen is a Soil Scientist with the Land Resources Division within The Pacific Community (SPC) and is based in Fiji. She has a wealth of experience in agricultural research and project management in the Pacific region.

For the Soil management in Pacific Islands project, Ellen assisted with soils extension through development of soils manuals and farmer trainings in Fiji. This work will help farmers improve their knowledge of soil management practices to enable Pacific Island farming systems to become more resilient, sustainable and productive.
