Ami Chand Sharma is a Principal Scientist and the Head of the Agriculture Chemistry Laboratory at the Ministry of Agriculture based at Koronivia Research Station, Fiji. He is the recipient of an ACIAR scholarship to study a Master of Science (Soil Science) at the University of the South Pacific.

For the Soil management in Pacific Islands project, Ami was the coordinator for the activities in Fiji. His work contributed to increasing soil sustainability and improving crop production in Fiji.
