Jeda is a Research Technician with CSIRO Agriculture and Food and is based in Brisbane, Australia. She is passionate about transforming food systems to promote sustainable agriculture and preserve natural ecosystems.

Jeda’s research is focused on promoting a more sustainable relationship between the environment and food production. She has worked on projects aiming to increase agricultural productivity, enhance soil management, improve resource-use to reduce environmental degradation, and promote healthier diets for improved human nutrition and health. She has pursued this research across scales from local to global levels, with professional experience in Australia, and in multiple countries in Asia and Africa. Jeda also has a high-level of competence in science communication, science administration, and project management.

Jeda’s contribution to the Soil management in Pacific Islands project involved leading the communications for the project. Her work aims to increase research impact, leveraging online platforms to increase public awareness and engagement of the projects research.
