Date Who What
05 Sep 2017 Schutt, Andreas (Data61, Docklands GS) and Stuckey, Peter (Data61, Docklands GS)

Science and Impact: Acceptance of the manuscript “Mixed-Integer Linear Programming and Constraint Programming Formulations for Solving Resource Availability Cost Problems” for a publication in European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR). Joint work with Stefan Kreter and Jürgen Zimmermann from the Clausthal University of Technology.

August 2017

Date Who What
Goldwaser, Adrian (Data61, Eveleigh ATP) and Schutt, Andreas (Data61, Docklands GS) Science and Impact: Won the Best Student Paper Award for the work “Optimal Torpedo Scheduling” at the 23rd International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming – CP 2017.  Adrian Goldwaser performed a 12-weeks project supervised by Andreas Schutt last summer. The judges were particularly impressed with the problem solving performance that you were able to achieve in a problem that had been the subject of intensive study.
