Soldier suits

Tiny fibres that shield against toxic chemicals

Ground-breaking nanofibre technology is being used to create next-generation protective suits. CSIRO and DST are developing a fabric incorporating a synthetic electrospun nanofibre layer that keeps out fine toxic particles.
