The Materials for Energy and the Environment (MEE) Group develops solutions for industrial challenges whilst mitigating the environmental impact that many materials and processes create.
Our capability areas are diverse and include organic and inorganic chemistry, synthetic and analytical chemistry, materials science, micro and macro engineering into prototype devices.
Our teams are platform based. We develop new materials which have applications in a number of market and industry sectors including energy generation and storage, agriculture, defence, construction, marine, biomedical, emergency services and chemical production. All teams are located in Victoria on the Clayton site with the Applied Porous Materials team co-located on the Monash Campus in the New Horizons Research Centre.
